The Humane Society of Yuma is an open admissions shelter and will not deny admission of any animal that needs our services; to include owner surrendered animals. We promise to support you through this process and will try our best to find a forever home for every animal that comes through our doors.
The Humane Society of Yuma is currently at MAX CAPACITY. We highly encourage owners to exhaust all efforts before surrendering their pets to the shelter. We understand the cost of living and caring for pets has increased making it difficult for owners to afford their pets. We have options for low-cost vaccines, spay/neuter, and food programs. If you are having trouble affording care for your pet, please look under our Help & Services tab for resources we offer to the community.
